Haitians are faced with a long uphill battle as the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew has left many feeling desperate.
When the hurricane hit Haiti at the beginning of October, Welland woman Naomie Cesar made it a mission to do what she could to help. In less than two weeks Cesar raised about $1,200 with the help of friends, family and a Go Fund Me page. The funds helped pay for her mission trip to where Cesar would give back to the country she is originally from.
